An SEO Experiment

For now, this site is primarily used to propagate an SEO friendly directory listing. Perhaps down the road sometime, it might grow but for now its more or less an experimental website. By experimental, I mean that we are using it to test major search engines, including Google, and how it uses various techniques to store information in its index. We are trying a variety of mechanisms on this site in hopes to log certain keywords into Google that might return in good results. Maybe some of our techniques will be successful and result in great returns in SEO, or perhaps they might be a total disaster. Why are we doing this site? Well because we are planning to run a couple business websites in the future and would like to develop a good, solid plan on how to best construct our business sites for optimal search engine returns. It helps to know what you are doing....before you do it! With that in mind, we are using this site to learn...through trial and error...what works and what doesn't.

Creating a new website and trying to get a Google page rank is difficult.  Not only does it take time, but their formula is kept secret, so there is a lot of hit and miss....trial and error involved.  This site is somewhat of a "sandbox" site.  We use it for our own experimentation.  When we have new ideas on computing, gaming, psychology, theory, or SEO, we like to use this site to try them out.  If we have any measure of success here, then we go ahead an implement them and recommend them to others.  There is a lot of "mish mash" stuff here.  It is not quite a coherent whole, but in all honesty, that was by design.  This site is not really meant to be informative about anything.  It is purely for experiment and testing.  The ultimate goal of course, is to achieve methods that generate the maximum degree of pagerank, but whether or not that is ever realized is still to be decided.

If you found this site via a typical search, then chances are, we are making some good headway. In that case, you can learn about what we are doing, since its obviously working.

If you got here because someone asked you to go here, then obviously the site is in trouble because its indeed not working. Well that means we just keep experimenting!

Best wishes,

Arthur & Christie

METHOD: This study was conducted in two distinct stages. Stage I tests the hypothesis that a positive correlation exists in the ability of children to score high on written deductive reasoning tests and their performance in playing games where deduction is necessary in order to maximize score. Stage II tests the hypothesis that competition in performance oriented games where deductive reasoning enhances final score has a positive effect on scores in written deductive reasoning tests. Dependent variables in the study are documented and maintained throughout. Students in the control group and the test group were matched according to age, sex, and scores on an initial written deductive reasoning test. By matching students in each group, subjective and unknown variables that could impact the outcome of the study are minimized. The independent variable in this study is competition.

METHOD:  Computer gaming studies were carried out to generate data pertaining to the existence of a potential correlation between playing massively multiplayer online computer games and a propensity to display antisocial behavior.  A pearson coefficient was theorized to exist and demonstrate a significant correlation between internet addiction or time spent on the computer and results on a psychological test measuring interest in various fantasy related elements, social status, and opinions about various computer games.
